It’s true I get emails from perfectly decent men saying they can’t get any
women to go out with them.

It’s also true most of those guys haven’t actually asked any out.

That’s the problem.

Yet, I know it’s not so easy to meet women.  And yes, some guys really
DO talk to women, ask them out and hear, “Um…I have a boyfriend”
or something else not as “nice” in response.

It’s hard to decide which hurts more…facing “rejection” or not having
the nerve to talk to women in the first place.

Yesterday I got an email from a pretty, young, female dating coach who
wanted to collaborate.  But a quick glance at her website revealed that
her #1 tip for guys to get better with women was to “go out on a lot of
dates to get practice”.

Great, huh?

I was reminded of the old Steve Martin joke about how to be a
millionaire and never pay taxes.

“First, get a million dollars…”

For most of us (myself included, in the past) the biggest frustration has
been not getting the date to begin with.  After all, you have to meet and
talk to women in order for that to happen.

Well, here’s the MOST tragic part of all.

So many guys make the excuse that they’re doing just fine by
themselves.  It’s more comfortable to remain alone than to risk the pain
of talking to women.

Well, today--at the risk of pissing you off—I’m challenging you to STOP
perishing the thought of what you’re missing out on.

Instead, here’s a full-color mental picture of what you can look forward
to when you’ve CRUSHED your fear of meeting women and are indeed
getting the job done, once and for all:

First, running errands will stop being a chore and suddenly become one
of your most anticipated pastimes.

When you go to the grocery store you’ll spot a sexy girl in yoga pants
buying avocados.  You’ll warmly ask her what her secret is to choosing
the perfect one.

When she responds objectively, you’ll say, “Actually, I couldn’t care less
about avocados.  I just wanted a good excuse to meet you.”  Then you’ll
see her bright smile, and her shy giggle will be the finest sound you’ve
ever heard.

When you go to lunch with your co-workers, you’ll no longer dread getting
a sexy waitress because the hot shot sales guy will get all of her attention.

Instead, you’ll bypass all of the weird self-talk about how she’s a “hired
gun” and charm her into asking your name and what you’re doing later.

When she finally whispers that she’s just moved out of her parent’s house
and finally has a place of her own,  you’ll mention that you should help her
decorate it.  It could probably use a man’s touch.

The two of you won’t be able to trade numbers fast enough.  That’s when
the guys you work with all roll their eyes and say, “Great. Can we go now,
already?”

You won’t dread long flights anymore.  That’s because you’ll seamlessly
and wordlessly flirt with the hottest flight attendant from the moment
she’s giving the pre-flight safety announcement.

Once you get to cruising altitude, she’ll either slip you a Johnny Walker
Black with a wink, saying “my treat”…or better yet, will invite you up to
first class with her.

And once you get home from your flight, you’ll open your inbox to find
DOZENS of new messages from the sexiest women in your entire city…
the ones you had “favorited” online and written before you left.

But you may not get to them because Avocado Girl and Lunchtime
Waitress are blowing up your phone with texts asking how long you’re
going to make them wait.

By now you may be straight-up sick of reading.  Like I said, I was fully
prepared for you to get pissed off.

But here’s the icing on the cake…

Every mental image I just planted in your imagination is
something that has really, actually happened for me in my life.

That’s right.  Every bit of it was true, not just a fantasy.

Now, by all accounts I’m an average guy, at best.  I’m not tall, classically
handsome or all that “buff”.

In fact, back in my 20s when I was in pretty good shape physically,
I went out on virtually ZERO dates.
