THE LAST LAP
This past weekend, Felix Rosenqvist won the Indianapolis 500 by two-hundredths of a second. It was the closest finish in the race's history.
Afterwards, he said the last lap was the roughest and the most intense one he had ever driven in his career. But he also said it was his BEST.
Meanwhile, the guy who led the race all the way until the last split-second did everything RIGHT...and still LOST.
I couldn't help but see the parallel there with attracting and relating to women.
Just like the Indy 500 was decided by a third of a car length after 500 miles, sometimes it's that LAST move...or that LAST decision that makes or breaks everything.
And THAT'S where you can feel like you read all the books and did everything right, but still didn't cross the finish line for the win.
