IT'S A TOUGH DAY FOR MALE/FEMALE RELATIONS

As you well know, I avoid talking about politics like the plague with you
guys.  That's because this newsletter isn't about how you vote, it's about
getting better with women.

But on rare instances, those two worlds collide.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you realize that happened
yesterday in grand fashion.

Regardless of how you vote (and I'm voting "do-over", for what it's worth),
the most significant fallout from yesterday's "leaked" audio--at least in my
mind--wasn't only the added fuel on the fire for angry women.

It was the massive number of defensive public comments passing off
what was said as mere "locker room banter", or casually assuming "all
men talk that way".

That's all we needed in this day and age, wasn't it?

The plain truth is Donald Trump is one guy.  What he says has nothing to
do with me or with you personally.

But when there's a widespread attempt being made to excuse Trump
at the social and ethical expense of vilifying all of us, you KNOW I'm
not going to sit on my hands.

That's not how I roll, and it shouldn't be how YOU roll either.

As you know, we DON'T all talk like Donald Trump...in public OR private.

I felt compelled to "hijack" Emily's newsletter this morning and reassure
her ladies as such.

Last night I posted a similar message on Twitter and Facebook.

The outpouring of appreciation toward me from women everywhere has
been pretty amazing.  I knew immediately I had done the right thing.

But there's an equally important message for each and every one of
us as men.

I want you to feel empowered as a man to stand up for yourself in the
coming days ahead whenever you hear in social discourse that all of
us are monsters.

Don't feel intimidated--either by angry women who want to paint you into
a corner OR by guys who seek to trivialize their own guilty conscience.

Yes, I've seen how commenters on news outlets have been poking fun
at the masculinity of men who boldly claim they do not talk like Donald
Trump.   I suppose that makes them feel "macho".

But you don't have to laugh and play along in the name of avoiding an
awkward moment.  As Billy Bush is finding out all too poignantly, even
that
tarnishes your character.

Instead, boldly set the record straight.  Here's what you need to know...

Any man who brags like he's entitled to "doing whatever he wants" with
women, regardless of whether she consents or not, isn't only dishonorable,
he's openly demonstrating to the entire world that he has NO SKILL
with women whatsoever.

No man who understands the joy of a WILLING woman rather than a
merely COMPLIANT one would ever even think like that.

And lets face it, if a guy is talking about "grabbing women by the p-ssy"
or grabbing them and kissing them on sight because he lacks personal
control, then it's clear to every evolved man who is successful with women
that the dude is COMPLETELY in the dark.

I'm being charitable in my assessments, obviously.

It's always far better to portray yourself as a man who deserves what he
wants.

Stand up and be a "big four" man.

Yes, it's perfectly normal to be sexually attracted to women.  That's even
celebrated by good, healthy, high-quality women everywhere.

Don't let anyone try to tell you that alone makes you a bad person.

As a man who understands the difference between igniting a woman's
femininity and genuine misogyny, don't let anyone--male or female--
brainwash you into thinking "we're all the same".
