NO MORE GUESSWORK:  HEAR FROM THE INVENTOR OF THE
DATING APP HERSELF

I remember casually mentioning that the new name of the podcast
was already getting us some great guests.

Dawoon Kang is the latest.

You may or may not recognize her name, but you probably know
about her wildly-popular dating app Coffee Meets Bagel.

And you might also have heard about how she and her sisters refused
Mark Cuban's record $30M offer on Shark Tank.

Dawoon is friendly, fun and it was easy to make her giggle.  But more
importantly, she spilled some of her market research on the
differences between how men and women date.

Sure, you've seen tons of books and programs on how to master
dating apps.  But this time I've taken it a step further for you... I went
and got the one who invented the app and asked her:

According to Dawoon, Coffee Meets Bagel recently rolled out what it
believes to be a woman-friendly approach to dating apps.

But it occurred to me during the conversation that what they've
REALLY done is make everything infinitely easier for us as men.

For example...they totally eliminated the dreaded first e-mail you're
confronted with writing every time you want to contact a woman on a
conventional dating site.

And just for good measure, they also did away with women having
unlimited options, which all but ends "flaking" and "ghosting".

It's genius, I tell you.

Anyway, enjoy this episode.  By the way, wait until you get a load
of Dawoon's take on "hook-up culture".   (Ha...yes, every question
was fair game.)

Be Good,

Scot McKay
