[X&Y] Survey Results Are In...You Have Spoken, And New Stuff Is Coming

SURVEY RESULTS:  YOU HAVE SPOKEN


I realize the newsletter is a couple of hours late today.  That's because we've
been compiling info all afternoon, and it took more time than we thought.

So if you find a typo or two ahead, go easy...  Right on?

Before we dive in, thank you for taking part in the most recent survey I sent
out several days ago.  I trust you're enjoying the retired episodes of the podcast.
 
If you participated, I'm sure you noticed immediately that the focus was more on
new ideas than data.

The results were extremely interesting. Obviously, you have plenty to say...and
I'm thrilled to say that your responses to the new project ideas we announced
were overwhelmingly positive.

Here's a relatively brief rundown of the findings.  Note that I counted only the
definitively positive (e.g. "hell yes") answers when calculating percentages.

There were lots of you who selected the "undecided" type of answers, skipped
certain questions or (yes, unfortunately) blew through the whole thing entirely just
to get the prize at the end.

All good.  The point is that some of the ideas we floated by you received huge
"hell yes" percentages, all things considered.



1)  Private Facebook Group


There were just a ton of "it depends" answers, which I get.  Even so, 36% of you
are already totally in.

Even more significant wast the whopping 56% of you who thought it was a great
idea to make it co-ed.  That was the single highest "hell yes" percentage of any
answer in the entire survey.

Obviously, you really want to meet the women on Emily's list.  BUT...the caveat
is that we did get our fair share of polarized answers.  Some of you warned that
a co-ed group would be a disaster.

Ultimately, a good number of you suggested in the comments section that we
either ease into the co-ed bit or do separate groups.  We'll likely start with the
group for you guys, see how that goes, and move forward from there.
 


2)  X & Y On The Fly
 

44% of you enthusiastically want the show to make a comeback.  Most of the
other responses were positive (as long as we mix up the content) with very few
"meh...who cares?" answers.

Believe it or not, the show is still quite popular on iTunes even though we've
only done two episode in the past five years.   It consistently ranks ahead of 
regularly updated shows by some fairly big-time players.

So be it, then.  Not only has the decision been made to start producing the show
again, the next two episodes are already in the works.

Act fast or stay home, right?
 


3)  Boom...The "Bucket Brigade"


I'll admit to you straight-up that this was the part I was most curious about your
thoughts on:

"I'm considering a radical new coaching program that would combine getting
better with women, world travel, crossing off "bucket list" items and making true
buddies for life. If it happens, there will be global adventures for about 12-15 guys
centered around community, meeting women and doing something epic."

A ridiculously-high 49% of you responded in the most enthusiastic way to this
idea.  Another huge percentage wanted more information.  Only like two people
wondered aloud why anyone would think this is interesting.

Obviously, there is a lot more detail to come, but I'm stoked over the high interest
level.

Given the real, curated, once-in-a-lifetime adventures involved, this new program
will be extremely limited and not inexpensive.  But for the right guys, the words
"life changing" seem inadequate.  It will be nothing short of legendary.



4)  Coaching Sessions To Remove "Blind Spots"


Almost exactly a third of you were super interested in this and many others 
asked for more info, so we'll put it in the works.

Essentially, we'd do a two-hour intensive session with you to help you see the
proverbial forest for the trees.  This is great for guys who are business
owners, trying to clear a career hurdle or anyone else who wants a different
perspective so as to find solutions that are "hiding in plain sight".



5)  Expanding Our Team Of Coaches


Plenty of you affirmed this idea, and you nominated some amazing candidates.

It occurred to me when reading your answers, however, that the point may not
have been clear.

What we're doing is bringing coaches with real-world experience and expertise
into the fold.  This means you'll be able to hire them for real, live, 1-on-1
coaching.  The whole idea is to give you more breadth of options in the coaching
you get from X & Y Communications.

That means that if you suggested anyone who is either dead, in jail, a huge
player with their own fully-scaled business and/or the next president of The
United States, we're probably not going to be able to bring them on board.



6)  Becoming An X & Y Communications Coach Yourself


This only sounds like an option for a select few of you.  Fair enough, and
that is probably a good thing.

 

7)  Power Sessions 2.0


Wow...a full-on 40% of you thought adding a group call and a 1-on-1 check-in
call every month to the current Power Sessions setup was a GREAT idea. 

Man, I LOVE when we get things like this right the first time.  Suffice it to say
we're already on it. 

Based on your input, the price will be under a hundred bucks for all that.
 


8)  Podcast Guests


Okay, the most sobering message here was how many of you didn't even
realize I did a podcast. 

The Mountain Top (formerly The Chick Whisperer) is on iTunes under
"Health", then "Sexuality".  Right now as we speak it's ranked 13th (out of
over 10K shows in the category), so I can tell at least some of you know
about it.

The other interesting factor was how many of you (like half) suggested
guests who I've already had on.  With over a hundred episodes, I understand
there's a lot to sort through.  But the good news is that if you look down the
list, you'll get instant gratification.  Let's hear it for that.

Meanwhile, others of you gave us some fantastic new suggestions. 



If you've been around for a while, you already know that we take these surveys
very, very seriously.  Most of what you mandated in last year's version has been
implemented since.
 
So it stands to reason that since this latest survey was all about exciting new
ideas, you're in for a LOT of action in 2017.

Like me, you have no intentions of slowing down, backing off or burning out.
