women also. Here's why...

Last time I told you about Stephen Nash's newly revised edition of
Based on your response to that, I'm doing the right thing and
That's 6p for those of you on the Left Coast. 9p Eastern Daylight
Time is also GMT -4 for those of you outside of the US and Canada.
The topic, of course, is "how to get a girlfriend". You can get

here:
Stephen and I will be delivering about 90-minutes of nonstop
fluff-free content tomorrow night on how you can get the RIGHT
woman in your life, for a change.

showed interest.)
You can count on some original answers you haven't heard elsewhere,
for sure.
In addition, we'll be giving away some prizes and will have a few
cool surprises in store.
You won't want to miss out on this one. We'll absolutely,
positively be running this call LIVE tomorrow night, so don't
expect some cheesy pre-packaged recording passed off as a
"teleseminar".
Oh, and yes....of course it's f-r-e-e.
If for some reason you HAVEN'T secured your copy yet, at just under
$20 I seriously have no idea what you're waiting for.
Here's the link to get the book and the cool bonuses that go along
with it:
I look forward to "seeing" you on the call tomorrow night at 9p EDT
sharp. The topic at hand is ALWAYS good for some great
conversation.
And now, on to another topic that's always a blast to talk about...
=====
I sort of fly a lot. It's gotten to where the gate agents ask me
how the family's doing whenever I check in.
So over the years, I've figured out some killer strategies for
leveraging airports and the planes that fly in and out of them as
amazing venues for meeting high quality women.
In fact, if you've got The Man's Approach you already have solid
evidence of that.
But today I want to focus on two basic areas of knowledge you're
going to have to master before actually getting down to the
business of brightening women's three-hour layovers and chatting up
flight attendants.
You need to know WHICH airports are the best for making
connections, and you need to know WHICH flights are most likely to
have hot flight attendants.
I mean, giving yourself the healthiest shot at having outstanding
"scenery" to enjoy on your trip has to come first, right?
So here we go...
AIRPORTS
Ok, first of all it makes perfect sense that your BEST chance of
meeting a great woman will come during a layover at what's commonly
known as a "hub" airport.
Let's face it, this is where both you AND the women you might
potentially meet will probably have some time to kill.
Sure, it's actually most favorable to meet a woman while waiting
for your flight from your hometown to take off. After all, unless
your city is a major tourist destination she's got a 50/50 chance
of living in your city.
But the truth of the matter is people just don't show up as early
for flights--especially domestic ones--as they used to.
So if you want to maximize your chances of meeting women during
your trip, you'll need to pick an airline that connects through a
hub that's likely to have a higher proportion of "terminal hotties"
roaming around...often alone.
Here in the US, I've noticed that the following major hub airports
have an uncanny knack for attracting particularly great women.
I've listed the airlines that hub there beside them for your
convenience:
Dallas (DFW) - American Airlines
Houston (IAH) - Continental Airlines
Phoenix (PHX) - Southwest Airlines, US Airways
Atlanta (ATL) - Delta, Airtran
Who knows why this phenomenon exists as it does?
I've long since theorized that there's something in the water in
the Southern US...but that doesn't explain how so many terrific women
traveling from elsewhere tend to turn up at those four airports.
Go figure.
For what it's worth, Miami (MIA) almost made the cut, but far too
many of the beautiful women I've seen there have been headed out on
vacation...with their husbands.
Elsewhere in the world, here are a few key international hubs that
stand out:
Copenhagen (CPH) - SAS
Hong Kong (HKG) - Cathay Pacific
Bangkok (BKK) - Thai Airways Int'l
Obviously, CPH is a hub for Scandinavia and northeastern Europe.
So if you like blondies who generally speak English as well as you
do (but with an accent), you've found your paradise.
Equally obviously, BKK tends to be populated by upscale Thai women
and a bunch of cool, interesting people visiting Thailand from
elsewhere. That's always a winning combo.
And HKG? Man, that place is just a melting pot of interesting
people coming from all four corners of the globe...so the VARIETY of
different women stands out.
Seoul (ICN) *almost* made the list...but just isn't quite where BKK
and HKG are.
Now, as much as I'd like to add hubs like London Heathrow (LHR),
Frankfurt (FRA), and Tokyo (NRT) to the list, they tend to
disappoint.
Oddly, so did Sydney (SYD)...which I would have thought impossible,
because the rest of Australia sure doesn't.
AIRLINES
So which airlines have the most attractive flight attendants?
Unfortunately, here in the United States that answer is rapidly
becoming "none of the above", although I give an edge to Southwest.
Maybe it's just because they have uniforms that actually look like
real women's clothes instead of neuter-wear.
But I'll tell you, it seems like more and more GUYS are signing up
to be flight attendants here in the US these days, which throws a
wrench in the works.
Coming back from California last week, I was on a Continental
flight that was staffed by ALL MEN. Whatever.
So what's a guy to do?
Well, a major factor here is understanding HOW airlines in the U.S.
staff flights.
You're seeing more and more flight attendants stay on the job for
quite a long time because they have the benefit of excellent union
representation, meaning they get paid more for flying the more
preferable routes as they build seniority.
Union representation--and our "politically correct" legal
system--also mean that "appearance" and "femininity" can't really be
counted as criteria during the interview process.
Add it all up and I can tell you--without apology--that a higher
percentage of sexy flight attendants are on regional flights (i.e.
smaller planes) and/or late evening flights to cities most of us
try to avoid.
Interestingly, if you happen to be on a small enough plane there
may only be one flight attendant. In such case, it's usually
especially easy to talk to her because she's got nobody looking
over her shoulder.
But what about when you venture outside of the US?
In Europe it's a still pretty much a roll of the dice, although
I'll say that eastern European airlines like Malev (Hungary) and
Tarom (Romania) scored high marks.
There's also some indication that low-cost carriers over there
(e.g. EasyJet, Ryanair) might have a bit of an edge like Southwest
(but neither JetBlue nor AirTran) has here.
But all of that said, the GOLDEN STANDARD for flight attendant
magnificence can still be found in southeast Asia, gentlemen.
Pick an airline. Cathay Pacific. Thai Airways. Malaysia
Airlines. There are others I haven't flown yet with similar
reputations.
You can expect ridiculously hot women who exude raw femininity and
who are eager to please. It's just amazing. Even Emily commented
about it the last time we were over there.
And here's the deal, you see. In Asia they tend to hire flight
attendants on five-year contracts, and there are FAR fewer hoops to
jump through when hiring.
Basically, women become flight attendants in Asia pretty much so
they can see the world a bit before settling down and starting a
family.
This is a particularly attractive plan because most Asian airlines
specialize in long-haul international flights more so than airlines
in the U.S.
So, hey...you end up with particularly attractive flight attendants
as a direct result.
Alright, listen up. By now you've long since realized that this is
an "opinion piece".
As such, although I've done what I can to turn my frequent flier
tendencies into YOUR advantage, I can't pretend to have been
EVERYWHERE or to have seen EVERYTHING when it comes to airports and
airlines.
For example, I'm still looking forward to hitting Singapore and
Dubai, and perhaps flying Singapore Airlines or Emirates to get
there.
And what about South America? So far I've been unimpressed...but
something tells me I'm missing something.
So I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts.
Been to an airport that should have made my list? Flown an airline
that should have earned a mention here? Let me know about it by
dropping a note to scot@deservewhatyouwant.com.
This really is a great topic...one that deserves to be covered as
fully as possible. If you guys send me some solid input, I'll
follow up with a blog post.
Be Good,

P.S. There's a new episode of X & Y On The Fly coming soon. It'll
be on a topic that will make you laugh out loud.
