No, your eyes do not deceive you.
As ridiculously improbable as it sounds, there REALLY IS a new
episode of the ever-popular but increasingly rare X & Y On The Fly
Dating Podcast. I just uploaded it last night, in fact.
And arguably MORE improbable than the very existence of this show
itself is the topic Emily and I are covering this time around:
open relationships.
That's right...open relationships.
In this episode you'll hear Emily and I swap opinions on all things
NOT monogamous. (But we'll let YOU decide whether it's "full
swapping" or "soft swapping".)
As always, you can get a load of this in one of two ways:
You can download (and subscribe) for f-r-e-e via iTunes:
...Or via the regular RSS feed, if you prefer:
But either way, rest assured nothing has changed where it counts.
Emily and I still host this show together, and she still hugs and
kisses me while we're in the middle of the show.
We're still a couple of goofballs who say completely bizarre things.
And yes, despite our miscellaneous ramblings about "The Lifestyle",
bisexual trysts, Andrei Kirilenko's wife and the "don't ask / don't
tell" policy of the rich and famous in this particular episode we're
still VERY monogamous ourselves.
But FAIR WARNING: For the benefit of some of you who are relatively
new to this newsletter, there's really no doubt that XYotF polarizes our audience more than anything else we do.
And it's really not even close.
Part of that may have something to do with the fact that this show is
the only thing we've got that's designed for a co-ed audience.
That alone, admittedly, is a "head scratcher". After all, you just
can't please everyone, right?
Or maybe it's more because we get unashamedly frisky with each other
at completely inappropriate times during the show, and that's just
flat-out unprofessional.
But whether you love or hate X & Y On The Fly, you'll forgive us...or
you'll be Jonesing for more.
Why is that?
Because whichever camp you fall into, the plain truth is that despite
this show's healthy 4 1/2 year run we only record like two shows a
year nowadays anyway.
There's just not much of it to go around--or to deal with, depending
on your perspective.
So in other words, have fun with this. By all means may it assist
ever-so-slightly in making your weekend that much more enjoyable.
Be Good,
Scot McKay
P.S. Oh yeah...while we're busy handing out f-r-e-e stuff this
morning, I realize some of you weren't able to catch the webinar
that Carlos Xuma and I hosted the other night on how to find and
keep a great girlfriend.
Well, no worries. You can stream or download the replay of that
event right here...enjoy:
And YES...I'll be happy to honor what I talked about at the VERY END
of the call for you. Suffice it to say I wasn't really planning to
publish a replay of the call at the time I made the offer.
Just say you listened to the replay when you write to me and I'll
fork over exactly what is promised...you got it.
