a "takeaway" or two to be gained...

MAKE WOMEN LAUGH = MAKE
WOMEN LOVE YOU
It's easy to think that people are either
"born funny" or they're not.
Fortunately for ALL of us, though, that's
a myth. I can tell you first-hand that
humor is a LEARNED SKILL.
In fact, there are a handful of VERY
straightforward ideas that are so easy to
learn that, well...it's not even funny.
When you know what they are you can surely
become that one guy in your social circle
who ALWAYS seems to have the right thing to
say at the right time to lighten everyone
up...and practically IGNITE the women you
know.
Here's the tricky part, though. If you
come off like a "clown" you WON'T attract
women.
You've clearly got to know the art of
ATTRACTIVE humor. That's what that video
from Zach at Social Fluency I shared with
you yesterday is all about:
Zach revealed his new program High Status
Humor yesterday, and has added some killer
new bonuses just to add extra value to
what's already an immensely practical and
powerful system.
They're not going to be there forever,
though.
So if you're thinking AT ALL about how
great it would feel to be able to make
women laugh ANYTIME and ANYWHERE,
this really is the chance you've been
looking for to learn the skills:
Response to both the video AND the
program has been really strong from you
guys since I told you about them, so I
can see this is something you recognize
the importance of.
Go ahead and take a quick look if you
haven't already:

ABOUT THAT U.S. MARINE WHO
ASKED MILA KUNIS OUT
As the subject line of this newsletter
suggests, I almost never write about
"pop culture" stuff.
That's probably because I'm just not
much for keeping up with celebrity news,
etc.
But one story yesterday caught my
attention.
A U.S. Marine named Sgt. Scott Moore,
currently in Afghanistan, asked actress
Mila Kunis to be his date for the Marine
Corps Ball in November via YouTube...
and she said "yes".
If you didn't see the news story, here's
a link. You can see Scott's video
invitation to Mila on the same page:
Now, I first posted this on the Facebook
Page yesterday, and it sparked a
particularly interesting discussion.
In fact, if you look at the comments at
the foot of EVERY major blog post covering
this story you'll see A LOT of "haters".
Some bring up the fact that Mila was "put
on the spot" on the air when she first
found out about Scott's invitation. So
she must have felt "pressured" to agree.
Others are quick to remind everyone that
Justin Timberlake basically "talked her
into it".
And the general consensus among
EVERYONE out there seems to be
that she's just doing this to "support
the troops".
Guess what? I'm not going to doubt ANY
of that.
In fact, I don't even CARE what's up there
because it's all BESIDE THE POINT.
In my mind, here's what REALLY matters:
1) The dude had the BALLS to step up
and ask out a chick who's currently one
of the "Top 5 Sexiest / Most Desirable /
Hottest Women In The World" on three
different major mens' websites 2011
lists.
2) She said "yes". Period.
3) He's actually GOING OUT WITH HER,
and NONE of the "haters" are.
4) My educated guess is that none of
the "haters" have approached ANY women
lately...let alone gone out with them.
5) Scott's "wingman" is Justin
Freaking Timberlake.
There are several angles to this whole
thing that are nothing short of
fascinating.
First of all, let's go ahead and call out
the "elephant in the room".
The ONLY reason this "date" is happening
is because of the press coverage of it
and the value of the publicity to Mila
I mean, uh...I guess. That's what
"conventional wisdom" dictates here, at
least.
BUT...if Scott is anything like I always
was, he's thinking in a different
direction.
In his mind the HARD PART is done already.
Can you relate? I mean, the biggest
hurdle for most of us is APPROACHING a
woman and GETTING THE DATE, right?
That part's DONE, dude.
If Scott's a "big four" man, he
instinctively knows two things:
1) If he's got a woman on a date with
him, he's ALWAYS got a FAIR CHANCE at
attracting her socks off. And Mila
Kunis is indeed a woman--even if she's
a famous and particularly hot one.
2) He's STILL the "chooser", no
matter what. In his mind it's a very
real possibility that she may show up
and HE will end up not being so
impressed.
Ha...can you imagine that?
It's "out there" enough to even THINK
he's "got a chance" with Mila.
But for him to NOT "pre-approve" her?
That's just CRAZY TALK.
But guess what?
If he DOES take that perspective on the
whole thing I'd say he's just put
himself on the SAME LEVEL as Justin
Timberlake or ANY other Hollywood type
who's "perceived social value" is through
the roof.
And let's not forget something else
significant.
The Marine Corps Ball is a prestigious
event that A LOT of women who go crazy for
a "man in uniform" would JUMP at the
chance to be invited to.
This isn't necessarily a "chore" for Mila
no matter how you slice it.
Meanwhile, just look at the Legions Of The
Dateless out there posting anonymous
comments on blogs telling Scott he's got
no chance with Mila and that he's nothing
short of an idiot for even trying.
Isn't it interesting how others are trying
to "reject" Scott on BEHALF of Mila? I
find that amazing.
Welcome to what happens when YOU have the
hottie and THEY don't, gentlemen. Get used
to that sort of thing in your own life.
But there's more.
Let's assume that Scott takes Mila to the
Marine Corps Ball and sure enough, that's
the last time he ever sees her.
In other words, it really does end up just
being all about the publicity.
Is that so bad?
Can you flippin' imagine what Scott's
attitude toward approaching women and
meeting them is going to be from now on?
He's going to be nothing short of
unstoppable, man.
And how about the women he approaches
themselves? What kind of "social proof"
will having gone out with Mila Kunis carry
in their mind?
The bottom line is this: Sgt. Scott Moore
made a BOLD move toward one of the most
desired women on Earth, and it's paying
off.
And notably...if you watch his video
"invitation", you'll immediately sense that
he didn't exactly come off like a world-
class PUA or anything.
Sure, some are saying that he initially
made the video on a bet and had no real
expectations.
But then again, I don't see him falling
apart at the seams now that Mila has
actually agreed to go out with him. It's
all good.
My guess is that this soldier will NOT
"fail to deploy" on the night the date
actually happens.
My personal prediction? I think he'll be
calm, cool and collected.
And I think he'll get some sort of PDA
from Mila...even if it's just a small
kiss. She'll like him.
So here's something to think about guys...
If Scott can sack up and do something THIS
insanely bold, then YOU can certainly stand
up to the next sexy girl you see in the
supermarket aisle or at the park walking her
dog and introduce yourself.
But take the sunglasses off first. Geez.
Be Good,
Scot McKay
