[X&Y] Special New Years Day Update

Happy New Year everyone. This message is one of
my somewhat unusual pure "news" newsletters. Most
of you have already figured out that when I write
these something significant is going on, and today's
message will be no exception.
Sure today is the first day of 2007, and although
that is a nice coincidence, we've been hard at
work on much of what I'm about to mention for weeks now. Since I really could have prioritized any of
these points as #1 please be sure to read this
entire message!
1) NEW DATING-CAST MINUTE
Emily and got in our studio and spent an entire day
recording 72 episodes of our brand new minute-long
podcast. We were on a roll and the chemistry was
great, so there is some excellent and completely
original content for you. Some of the topics we
ran with were shocking and/or hilarious. Nice.
X & Y On The Fly has received an over-
whelming response, and ironically enough the longer
the episodes are the more they are downloaded. That
said, many have asked for what we are launching
here.
So how do you get in on this action? Simple, the

and is is going to be UPDATED DAILY. And oh yes...

2) DAVID DeANGELO'S "INTERVIEWS WITH DATING GURU'S
SERIES"
I have the great privilege of being the guest of none
other than David DeAngelo for his February edition of
"Interviews With Dating Gurus".
Most of you already know exactly who David D. is, and
this is a particularly major deal for me for two reasons:
1) David D.'s work was my single largest influence in
getting started with X & Y, and... 2) David D. is very
picky with who he selects to interview, and such guys are
typically already world-famous as dating and relation-
ship experts.
Needless to say, I took this opportunity very seriously.
The interview is already done and I can tell you that
the flow was great. This will be nonstop practical info
for guys, which was my primary goal going into this inter-
view. Having listened to most of David D.'s other inter-
views I wanted to make sure this was one of the best he
ever released, and I saw no better way to ensure that
than to hit the ground running with my very best "A" game.

Since Emily and I are now married, we are very much
partners when it comes to X & Y Communications. You al-
ready know that she is working on Power Sessions For Women
(and I've seen the bullet points...WOW). But we have de-
cided that the specific concept of building the kind of
relationship that is so great that it makes you *want* to
end a wildly successful run of dating all kinds of people
is SERIOUS BUSINESS.
That's right--knowing that we're with exactly who we WANT
to spend a lifetime with is an unbelievable feeling, and
we're all about making that happen for as many people as
possible. Being popular in the dating world was great,
but having the BEST one you've ever met around the house
all the time ROCKS. We call it POWER MONOGAMY. Somehow
that title just jumped out at me.

Largely though, the look and feel is very similar to our

that Power Monogamy is more "application specific".

Simpler navigation, better graphics, easier access to
archived articles and MORE MORE MORE CONTENT! This alone
was reason enough to drop an update to you in the mail,
but with so much going on it's just an added bonus
5) PODCASTING HAS GONE TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL
Starting with Episode 20 (later today), the 2007 version
of X & Y On The Fly will be more content-rich than ever.
The new iTunes graphic hints that there have been changes.
And there have been indeed. The intro was re-recorded and
we have jumped right in to mobile podcasting. The "beta"
test for this was The Episode 19 Weddingcast, and now
you'll get mobile cuts as part of the regular package.
Other new features include comedy shorts, improved sound
quality, guest appearances and other surprises. As always,

PLEASE write us a review at iTunes and/or vote for us on
Podcast Alley.
And remember, there's that crazy podcast called the "Mr.
Nice Guy Show" that I do with Steve "The Dean" Williams that
brings out a completely different side of both of us. That
show is part of the feed at:

the street night before last.
OK, I told you there was a lot going on, right?
Another idea I'm considering is going with text-based
newsletters (of which today's is an example). This format
is lighter weight and much less likely to get "spam boxed"
than the HTML version. And strangely enough, I've read
several reports that show most people actually prefer text
newsletters to HTML ones anyway...go figure. The HTML
and PDF versions would still be archived in their familiar
formats.
