THE CHICK WHISPERER #68:

Six Months To Get A Life

When I first read the title of Ben Adams' book (which is also
the title of this episode) I couldn't help but joke with him
that "Six Months To Live" could theoretically mean the same thing.

Except his title is a lot less likely to be confused.

"Yeah, but it sure felt like that at one point", he joked in
return, with a laugh.

Laughs and jokes are a common thread in this latest show, for
sure.

You see, Ben's not your typical TCW co-host.

His book is actually a comedy novel about a guy whose just gotten
divorced and has given himself half a year to "get back in the
game".

Now, if you're guessing that Ben is recently divorced himself,
you're exactly right.

As you can imagine, he has a HUGE amount of real-life personal
experience to draw from.

The end result is a truly hilarious hybrid of personal experience
and outrageous fantasy...ALL of which you just might be able to
relate directly to.

Let's face it, if you've ever suffered through a painful divorce
(or even a harsh breakup, really) you're going to get a twisted
thrill from this episode.

Geez...I know I did.  I laughed more while recording this show
than I ever have during any other.

Did I mention that Ben is British?  That should give you an idea
of the type of humor (or is that "humour"?) that you're in for
here.

His book launch is actually today, so the timing of all this
couldn't be better.  Here's where to take a look:

That's a UK site, so if you're elsewhere (like here in 'Murica,
for instance) you'll probably want to check your "local" Amazon
page for it.

Be Good,

Scot McKay

P.S.  I always appreciate your reviews (especially if you
like the show, of course.)  Even marking a couple good reviews
as "helpful" is tremendously helpful (and it takes one second,
literally).

If you leave a review (which takes like thirty seconds) drop
me a note at scot@deservewhatyouwant.com telling me so and
I'll rush you the secret download page for the first nine
"lost episodes"
of The Chick Whisperer.

They'll probably fry your circuits because the original format
was SO different. They're VERY entertaining for sure, nonetheless.

Thanks for the help...
