5 REASONS WHY THIS TIME OF YEAR IS A GREAT TIME
TO MEET WOMEN


Obviously, today is Halloween.

Thanksgiving is less than four weeks away here in the United
States.

And I realize you've probably heard a million times about how
the holiday season is the best time to meet a woman.

That's for good reason.  Seriously, it seems like women who
don't have a boyfriend this time of year find themselves on a
mission to get one.

At the very least, the pressure is on in their minds to be seeing
someone, if nothing else.

So WHY is this?  Ah...that's the part that nobody ever really takes
the time to figure out.

But knowing the reasons could add up to a tremendous
advantage, making sure the woman you have your eye on wants
to be with YOU this holiday season.

So with that in mind, I've identified five factors that when
considered in context provide a pretty good explanation for the
whole phenomenon at play here:



1)  Cold Weather


If you're in the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere, which
most people reading this are, this is the time of year when the air
starts to get a certain chill in it.  

So for starters here, raise your hand if every woman you've ever
met gets cold before you do, and you end up giving her your jacket
rather than vice-versa. 

I'm raising my hand, in case you're wondering.  I mean, let's face
it...the idea of a man asking a woman for her jacket seems flat-out
silly, doesn't it? 

Women, besides tending to be a bit more cold-natured than we as men
are, crave affection...at least typically.

Add it all up, and their minds are very much on finding someone to
"snuggle" with about now.  And whether you love the word "snuggle"
or loath it, I'm sure being the man she does so with wouldn't suck.



2)  Togetherness


There's no doubt whatsoever that the holidays are pretty much built
around spending time with people you care about.

Show me someone who's alone this time of year, and I'll show you

that you may be going solo this Thanksgiving weekend or New Year's,
if not spending it with your bros.

I had years where at least two women were interested in spending
Thanksgiving with me "solo", and I had to choose.  Just sayin'...

Whether a woman digs the company of her relatives or not, you can
bet your bottom dollar she'd much rather mix in some romance and
spend her time with someone she's actually hot for.


 
3)  Social Events


Fact:  There is a larger concentration of parties and special
events planned around holiday time than at any other time during
the year.

Women particularly dread going to these social gatherings alone,
lest they look like an "old maid", perhaps even being the only
one there without a date.

Believe me, women will beg, borrow or steal to avoid that scenario.

What's going on here actually transcends the concept of
"togetherness" inherently fostered by the holiday season itself. 

This is more in line with entering the lunchroom in college with
your tray only to find you don't know anyone, and therefore having
nobody to eat lunch with.

The horror.

I mean, don't be surprised if women you haven't heard from for
weeks or even months ring you up inviting you to join them at
some random Christmas party.



4)  Memories


Maybe the first three were obvious to you, or maybe not.  But
here's one you probably haven't thought about.

Women, being the sensitive creatures they are, can be very
sentimental.  The holidays are a virtual "memory factory".

Some of those memories will be pleasant and others will be sad.

Whenever emotions are running at a high level, it's particularly
nice in a woman's mind to have someone she's romantically
interested in around to be affectionate with.

Sure, this also kind of ties in to the idea of not being alone
during the Holidays, but there's a decidedly different twist going

Yep, women are sentimental.  They're affectionate.  And they
