Women LOVE men who own their own issues and take
responsibility.

This means not blaming everyone else for your
problems.

A while back I was left with no choice other than
to confront another father whose daughter participates
in the same youth sport as mine.

He had been "trash talking" my then 7-year-old whenever
I turned my back, trying to intimidate her so his own
kid (who is two years older) would have a better
chance at winning.

Obviously, that shiznit cannot stand.

I was calm and straightforward.  I told him I needed to
"visit" with him (Texas style), and then suggested that
he stop doing what he had been doing.

Somewhat predictably, he pointed at my daughter
and said, "Well, she started it!"

At that point he lost all of my respect to the point
I didn't even attempt to continue a man-to-man
discussion with him.  There was no point in it.

This wasn't going to be a "teachable moment"
for him.  Moreover, it was unreasonable on my part
to expect any kind of apology, let alone any effort to
make things right.

So instead, I talked to him in the same black-and-
white terms I'd use with a kindergartner.

Curtly, I told him to stay the hell away from my
daughter and never speak to her again, and as a
courtesy to him I'd reciprocate the favor.

Kids can trash-talk each other's brains out.  That's
part of competitive sport.  But full-grown parents
should stay the hell out of it.  Anyone who doesn't
instinctively get that probably never will.

My little girl looked at me afterward like I was a
superhero.

Gentlemen...

Rest assured that offloading blame for your actions
onto a 7-year-old little girl is the EXACT OPPOSITE
of boldly taking responsibility for yourself like a real
man must.

As pathetic as a grown man blaming a child sounded
to me, imagine what WOMEN must think.

But sadly, this trend is becoming more the norm than
the exception.

Nowadays I hear lots of men blaming anything and
everything else they can for their troubles.

There are entire "echo chambers" of men out there
gathering to whine and complain about how unfairly
society treats them and how terrible women are in
particular.

They shouldn't be surprised that women don't like
them either. 

What they'll never realize is that they've LED.  Women
have only followed that lead.

The first step to living the life you really want is
OWNING.

Taking responsibility and OWNING your actions feels
